I am a temple, a dwelling place, of God. His spirit and his life dwell within me

1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19

“Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s sanctuary and that the Spirit of God lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s sanctuary, God will destroy him; for Gods sanctuary is holy and that’s what you are” -3:16

“Don’t you know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own for you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body” -6:19

We are holy if Christ is living in us, so we must treat our bodies as such… 

I AM- Christ’s Friend

John 15:15

“I no longer call you servants, because a master does not confide in his servants. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me”  

We are friends because the knowledge we have been given from Christ

It’s not because I have always made the right choices, or that I was always doing Your will for my life. It’s because Your hand in my life and Your protection that I am where I am, regardless of what I wanted or tried to do. You’ve put me here, and taken me through it all and no matter how bad I want things my way I am going to put my trust in You, Your plan, Your way for me. It’s not because I think I will get rewarded or that eventually it will turn out how I want it. You promised You’ll work in me and that You want the best for me, and that isn’t always what I think is the best for me. So I am going to follow You through everything, by You leading me, and trust that Your way is the best way. Here I am, hoping, following, and waiting. You are my God and You have made me and planned out my life so I am going to go Your way…
